That's right folks... along with my fancy new site my new album "The Untimely End of The Reverend Jonny Flash" is about to be released!  This will be my first real album EVER!!!! It only took about 8 years! The first run is being made possibly by the amazing, pretty, talented, smart, pretty, funny, neato, pretty, cool, awesome, rad, and pretty Kimberly Freeman, who is releasing the initial run under Kimberly Freeman Records! She is responsible for just about everything good in my life for the last 6 years.

This album started around this time last year being recorded in my closet. At the beginning of this year I was able to start working with Jason Sewell of Nebulost Productions. This was an improvement to say the least. Jason took my crappilly produced crap and made it into beautifully produced crap. Then we recorded more of my crap which he makes sound like not crap.

The album features some awesome musicians as well as people other than myself. It was a humbling experience.

I, of course, rocked the ukulele, vocals, and did some keys on a few songs. Most of the tracks feature Eric Hueber, filmmaker and Mormon, on drums. In the new version of Crackwhore you can hear Benjamin Gale, musician and also a Mormon, on violin. Jason played almost everything else including all of the bass, guitar, and, on a few tracks, the drums, just to name a few. And, of course, Kimberly Freeman on backup vocals, and love.

Right now the album art is being done by awesome artist Jenner Carnelian of Ginck Media. I don't want to give away the surprise, but Jesus is pissed.

The preorder page should be up in just a few days. I can't wait!

I'm really very excited. The album will be available early in Eugene, OR during my trip there which is August 25th to September 9th. It will be release everywhere around the end of September with a CD release party in Austin, TX!
